When Logan Sullivan of Clarenville was preparing for his fifth birthday, he decided to ask for something different for gifts.

Instead of asking his party guests to bring gifts for him, he asked them to bring toys and treats for the animals at the SPCA shelter in Clarenville.

Logan loves his dog, Frenzy, and his two cats, and felt badly for the dogs and cats that are currently without loving homes at the local SPCA.

He told his mother, Jessica, that he “hopes the toys and treats will make the animals feel better until they get new homes.”

Logan was extremely proud and excited to bring the donations to the SPCA the day after his party.
