Two arrested in Stephenville drug bust

A 45-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were arrested at a Stephenville residence on Wednesday after police seized 46 ounces of cannabis resin.

The arrest was made by the RCMP/RNC Joint Forces Corner Brook Drug Section with the assistance of the RCMP Stephenville Detachment

The man and woman are facing charges of conspiracy to traffic in cannabis resin, trafficking in cannabis resin, and possession of cannabis resin – and are scheduled to appear in Stephenville Provincial Court on June 6.
