RCMP asking for public's assistance in locating drugs

ST. GEORGES - RCMP is concerned about two different types of pharmaceutical drugs stolen from a pharmacy in St. George's last night.

Oxycodone and Morphine, both drugs are used to treat severe pain, were stolen. Three bottles were esimated to have been taken and they are past their expiration date and possibly contaminated.

After an investigation, a youth was arrested for the break and enter but some of the pills have yet to be recovered. These pills are popular street drugs that should be regarded with great caution.

Bay St. George RCMP are asking that the public keep an eye out for these drugs. If located, call the RCMP immediately at (709) 643-2118.

 

**UPDATE** RCMP released a statement as of 11:49 a.m. stating the drugs have been located.
