E.A. Butler wins sportsmanship banner at tournament

The E.A. Butler All Grade boys volleyball team recently went to the Provincial Small Schools Volleyball tournament in Kings Cove, Bonavista North.

Although the boys were unsuccessful in winning the provincial banner, they were awarded the Team Sportsmanship Banner for showing the best sportsmanship at the tournament. Team member Loughlin Gosse also received the individual team sportmanship medal.

Coach Julia Strickland attended the tournament with the team, along with Community in Schools Volunteer Co-ordinator Susan Hulan, Todd Hulan and Laurie King.
