With hoots and hollers coming from league members, Anna Brake jumped out of her seat to accept the award for highest score with three darts.
The Stephenville Crossing Ladies’ Dart League member scored 180 – hitting the triple 20 mark three times in one turn – during regular season play.
She picked up a pin to commemorate the achievement at the league’s annual banquet at the Lion’s Club.
Winning the first place overall and championship team trophies were the team of Marilee Joy, captain; Kimberly Joy-Sharpe; Marilyn Lucas; and Debbie Walsh.
Kim Nolan won the Jean Ploughman Memorial Award, honouring the league’s most improved player. Jean Louvelle was honored for having the most finishes (37) and most tons (41); Carolyn Brake won highest three dart finish accolades (78); Barb Bennett had the highest average – single leg (29.92); Dale Samms had the highest average – five legs (18.93).
